Happy Father’s day. You are the best father ever
Happy fathers day. To my mentor, role model, my pastor, a brother, a friend who tend to be my father. You’ve molded me into the man I am. A man that is oh so similar to you. What a great thing. Courage, strength, character, decency, honor, love, empathy, respect, and so many other characteristics ingrained into my soul because of you. Thank you
Dear daddy (Mr Lungisani Gumbi)
There are no words to describe my love for you. You were an example of kindness, compassion and integrity. Thank you for showing me such a generous spirit. You taught me to pray; you led me, guided me and directed me. You worshiped every evening singing, “Amazing Grace”. You taught me to love God’s creation. You made my childhood so fun-filled with pigs, donkeys, bunnies, ducks and chickens.
To those who don’t know my father: he was love, God’s ambassador, full of light and wisdom, a father to the fatherless. The best goal scorer in his day. Came from the South with his father and his venda mother (my late grandmother). Cross the Limpopo river where he got his education before he met the love of his life my mother Dhudhla Dube.
I still remembered when someone stood up at your funeral and said, “If God was to tell me that I want to take someone from among you, I was not gonna say take me. But I was going to say, put Mr Gumbi aside and then choose one among us”. I also remember when you gave me all you had for my start up business. How you brought and sourced donors and you could give all to the church and the community when you also where indeed. Sometimes I talk to you, sometimes I cry. But all you were i have become. Thank you dady. Do you still remember Chipolopolo Fc our village team in Maranda
You laughed during the tough times and with many kids to feed and clothe, there were many. Your humor has seen me through many trials. You taught me how to spend money: “If you have the money for it, get it; and if you can’t save for it, you probably never needed it.” Often people compliment me for my kindness but it isn’t me they see, it is your compassionate spirit they see in me. You made me a beautiful person. I look forward to seeing you in eternity again some day. Happy fathers day.
“You are my TOWER of STRENGTH! You believe in me much more than I believe in myself. I want to be more because you believe I can. You forgive my faults and only encourage my strengths. You are so proud of me and your confidence in me reminds me that I am destined for greatness! Every day I know how much you love me! I can’t thank you enough for being an amazing role model. I love you beyond any words that could be written on paper.” Happy fathers day.
Thank you for everything that you have done to help me grow these past years. As much as it gets under my skin for you to be right, you truly know what is best for me and have helped me to become the God-fearing man I am today. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and encourager through everything I do! This is just a small token of appreciation, thanks for not only being the best daddy ever but my best friend! I love you! Karate hepls me ease the pain of missing you but nomatter how I love it, my perfect moves will not replace you. that is why I speak to you like I am seeing you because I do.
How blessed I am to call you my dad! Through my ups and downs, you’ve always been there to pick me up with your words of wisdom and encouragement. God gave me the greatest gift when he chose my parents! It has been said that “the most important thing a father can do for his children, is to love their mother.” You have been the greatest example of this! Your love and care for our family shines brightly through you! Through every painful moment, I’ll never forget that look in your eyes wishing and praying you could take it all away. I may not be able to see you anymore with my eyes, but I know your heart and I know you would do anything possible to take all the bad that is happening right now, away, if you could. Words are not enough, but … “Thank You!” Thank you for the Godly example that you are! Thank you for the life and legacy that you’ve given me! Thank you for being my DAD!
Happy Father’s Day dad!!! I want you and evryone to know that I have the most amazing father in the world. I may not tell you enough, but I love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know. You have stood by me and supported me through any obstacle life has thrown my way. You gave me the most amazing childhood a girl could ask for and are one of the hardest workers I know. Most importantly, you are the best papa, and that means the world to me. Thank you for everything that you do. I hope your father’s day is the best, because no one deserves it more than you. Happy fathers day.
You have been the stronghold in my life. You set a firm foundation and precedence by making church a priority and for that I am forever grateful. You have always been such an encourager, motivator, and listener. I have countless memories with you as a child, i.e. going to church, playing football, my public speaking, writing and poems competition, receiving awards etc. Thank you for instilling love, the importance of family, respect, integrity, to always go beyond what is expected, and the phrase “attitude is everything”. As an adult, I cherish the close relationship that I have with you. Thank you, , for being an amazing father. Happy Father’s Day!
Love you. Happy fathers day.
I just wanted to say you mean so much to me. You make me happy on rainy days…..even though we’d be outside watching the rain. What would life be without a dad like you? I’ll tell you, I would not have a likeness for trucks, roller coasters, and most importantly, God. I am so thankful that you help me through the hard days and the good days.
Now, as an adult, I hear Christ saying, “Go and make disciples of all nations,” and I think, “God, You could do this so much easier without me.” But God loves us enough to teach us to be humble while showing us the dignity of sons and daughters of the King. When I ponder this, I think of the carpet iron I had no business touching, and you asking for my “help.” Thanks, Dad, for giving me an image of the Great Commission. You have given me guidance, comfort, and love.
One day, when I was alone, my heart remembered the words of Psalm 68:5, that You would be a “Father to the fatherless” and I cried. I knew then, and I still know now … You love me!
We can’t begin to thank you enough for all you have done over the years. Your constant love and support has meant more than anything. You sat through countless games, awards ceremonies, and graduations throughout the years. We owe a great deal of our individual successes to you. Happy fathers day.
We love you, Dad!
There was a time (I can’t remember the exact day) when I realized that my dad wasn’t actually a superhero. It would be a devastating thought to any young mind, unless they have a chance to see what their dad is really made of. My dad is caring, strong, and a man of conviction. It took me a long time to see that, but now, I see myself trying to emulate some of these great traits I’ve seen displayed in him. Thank you, dad. I’m not perfect, but I wouldn’t be who I am, if not for you. Happy Father’s Day.
I just wanted to let you know that I love you so much. I appreciate how incredibly hard you work and all that you do for our family. I’m beyond grateful and blessed to have a father like you! Thank you for everything. Hope you have a great Father’s Day!
You’ve molded me into the man I am. A man that is oh so similar to you. What a great thing. Courage, strength, character, decency, honor, love, empathy, respect, and so many other characteristics ingrained into my soul because of you. While today you may not remember some of those moments, I will remember for you.
You are left me and our family in a much better position that you were left in. A foundational cornerstone that all fathers wish for their children. You may not remember that you have done this for our family, but I will remember for you.
While you struggle to remember day to day issues, while a fog rests over past times, and while soon you may struggle to remember me, I will remember for you.
Know this, you are my man of character, my anchor, my mentor, and most of all, My DAD!
Don’t worry…., I will remember this for you too.
I was still a little boy, but even then I could see, the Lord had touched your life and blessed our family. You used to say “God is looking for a man. Someone who will stand and live the truth no matter who agrees.” Baba, you have been His man. You’ve yielded to His hand. And from my youth you’ve trained me faithfully. Dad, you’ve been God’s ambassador to us and those whole life you touched.
I know I still have much to learn, but i have begun to see, How blessed I am with a Father who has loved and corrected me. I thank the Lord today, for the Godly man you are. You’re my friend and my example, and I know God has your heart. I’m so glad Jesus changed your life. “Train up a child in the way he should go. He won’t depart when from it.”
Thank you Dad, you’ve shown me the way. I want to honor you in all I do and say.
Your ever grateful son
